About Us - Lords of Cricket Board Game

Paul Friend invented the concept of the Lords of Cricket board game in Geelong, Australia.

It was a game that he thought could be played by only one player and so he would play the game for many hours.

When Paul's children started playing Under 11s cricket he discovered that they had trouble understanding the concepts of cricket and how to score. He took the Lords of Cricket game out again and played it with his children and their friends, their enthusiasum towards the game prompted him to investigate the possibilities of marketing it and at the same time helping people understand cricket a little better.  He found that it was a simple way for children and non cricket tragics to understand the fundamentals of the game of cricket, the rules and how to keep score and all the time playing an enjoyable game.
